CAN WE HELP YOU WITH FUNDRAISING?
ROTARY CAN HELP YOUR ORGANISATION RAISE FUNDS WITHOUT COST.
A number of Rotary Clubs in the Midlands have combined to help organisations, similar to yours, to raise much needed funds for any urgent need -which may include purchase of replacement or additional equipment, repair to your meeting place, educational visits and much more for immediate or future use.
These Clubs have set up the MIDLANDS COMMUNITY DRAW with a FIRST PRIZE of £1,000
NEW FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE
“Let’s make a difference together”
This Scheme is completely free of charge, without any risk or liability to your organisation with a guaranteed cash prize of £1,000; with additional smaller cash prizes dependent on the volume of tickets sold.
To make the scheme free-to-you, the bulk of the costs are being sponsored by Midland Businesses, to which we are most grateful. These organisations will feature in the Draw promotional material.
A similar tried and tested scheme led by Rotary in Devon for more than 10 years has helped more than 200 “good causes” raise in total over £250,000.
THE NUTS & BOLTS
Free of any charge, Rotary will provide draw tickets to each participating organisation. The Tickets will display your organisation’s own logo & name.
Ticket can be sold by you at any time during the current draw year (for 2020 this is between 21st March and 31st October). Tickets will sell at £1 each. Your organisation will retain 80p from every ticket you sell; immediately available to you for urgent use, perhaps to buy that vital replacement equipment, to mend/decorate a Clubhouse or to save for longer-term aims.
The balance of 20p per-ticket-sold will be returned to the Rotary Club that supplied your tickets, together with the completed ticket stubs and any unsold tickets. These returns must be made immediately after 31st October 2020. Tickets sold after this date will not be valid. The 20p per ticket returned will be used to fund additional cash prizes and residual costs not covered by sponsorship.
PLEASE NOTE: tickets cannot be sold by or to anyone aged 16 years or younger.
PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART IN 2020.
We do hope you will take full advantage of what we believe to be an exciting opportunity for Rotary to assist your organisation in raising much-needed funds which will be available to you as tickets are sold.
